HOW LONG DOES A KITCHEN INSTALLATION TAKE?
After all agreements are signed on an average kitchen you’ll be looking at anywhere from two to eight days if you’re in need of a new cabinet installation. After installation is complete we will schedule a time to do a quartz/granite template for your kitchen right away. When it comes to the fabrication of the stone, we begin the process immediately. Because we do quality work it does take time so you may have to wait approximately one to two weeks before it is ready to be installed depending on the size of your kitchen. Your designer will help give a more firm time frame at the time you are looking to book your installation service.
HOW MUCH WOULD A KITCHEN COST ON AVERAGE?
Because our cabinets are pre-finished our customers tend to spend around $12,500 on a renovation in their kitchen. This includes the cost for countertops, under the mount sink as well as wood cabinets. The final cost will come down to the size of your kitchen and the type of cabinets and countertops you chose. There could be additional costs such as adding an island, glass doors, crown for the ceiling, crown moldings, baseboard moulding, corbels and light rails.
DO YOU OFFER MEASUREMENTS IN MY HOME?
We encourage you to bring a rough drawing and come to our showroom with your floor plans if possible. Our designer will better be able to give you advice and recommendations as well as show you some sample door cabinets in person. These in home measurements are the final step before we are ready to confirm the designs.

Our quotes will show everything that comes down to the final estimate, but at Pinnacle Kitchens we only perform the installation countertops and cabinets. Should you need any plumbing or electrical work or a tile installer or paint you would need to contact someone else who can take care of that. But we do have a list of our own contractor who has done work for us previously that we can to refer to you as well.
CAN WE MATCH AND MIX DOOR COLORS AND PROFILES?
Unfortunately because our product is pre-finished the styles and colour of our cabinets come as a complete unit and they are unique to each manufacturer. So the styles and colors that you see can’t be mixed and matched with any other product that is available on the market.

IF I’M LOOKING TO PAINT MY CABINETS DO I PAINT THEM BEFORE OR AFTER THE CABINETS ARE INSTALLED?
All painting should be done before you have your cabinets installed to prevent any overflow paint onto the brand new cabinets and countertops. Any touch ups may be needed after installation but we do our best to make sure this doesn’t happen.
DO YOU OFFER FLOORING AND BACKSPLASH?
Yes absolutely. We have a great selection in our showroom or check out our website at www.pinnaclekitchens.ca then we can add them to your quote or you are more than welcome to purchase them separately. Contact us for more details.
HOW SOON CAN THE COUNTERTOPS BE INSTALLED ONCE THE KITCHEN CABINETS ARE DONE?
As soon as your kitchen cabinets have been installed we can setup for a template to be completed right away. This gives us the chance to receive stone slab and then we can begin the fabrication. This usually takes somewhere around two weeks depending on how many jobs we have to do at that particular time. We definitely do our best to have your job finished with quality in a very timely manner.
CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GRANITE AND QUARTZ?
Granite is a natural stone which is an igneous rock composed of mostly two minerals (Quartz & Feldspar) they cut granite into a big block from the mountain into several slabs, layered and trimmed and then polished to be put to use in kitchen countertops. It is however susceptible to smells and tough stains. We encourage you to seal your counter top so you have an additional protective layer at least one a year.
Quartz on the other hand is a man made product or we call engineering stone which form by combining 90% ground quartz (natural hard material) with 8-10% resins, polymers and pigments that create much more uniform appearance unlike any natural granite. Quartz is relatively stain resistant, chip and scratch free. It makes for low maintenance and upkeep which customers tend to love.
In regards to pricing, they are rather similar. Quartz is roughly fifty five to eighty dollars a square foot while granite is a little more cost friendly at forty eight to sixty five dollars a square foot. Both products have their own unique appearance but everything comes down to personal preference. Because of durability quartz is much more popular for today’s market.
WHEN IT COMES TO STANDARD, EXOTIC AND PREMIUM GRANITE WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
The difference between premium, exotic, and standard granite tends to be based on how rare the stone is available on the market. Depending on the type of stone which you selected it will also be shown through the cost of the granite for your final selection and the whole project.
CAN I LIVE IN MY HOUSE DURING THE RENOVATIONS?
Yes you can, but keep in mind that when we are working on floors or walls you are most likely going to have to deal with dust. We do our best to make sure we have as little dust as possible but we do suggest you remove or cover up any furniture or valuable items to be safe with your own caution. We also ask that you set aside some space for our installers to work, preferably something close to an outdoor area so we can perform any cutting outdoor as the weather permitted.
WHY IS MY KITCHEN NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE SPECIAL PROMOTION?
The special promotion is the baseline as a starting point for a new kitchen. Each kitchen is different and unique and the final cost at the end comes down to how complex of a design is needed. The special is based on the common ten by ten L shaped design with the two centimeter granite polish edge profile already installed. Often these kitchens do not account for the cost of moldings or trims that may be required. We do our best here at Pinnacle Kitchens to work within your budget to give you the best and most beautiful kitchen of your dreams.
WHAT ARE YOUR CABINETS MADE OF?
